Funeral Reception Ministry
Funeral Reception Ministry organizes and serves food following a funeral service as a gift of love for a grieving family. This offers family and friends a chance to reconnect, share memories, and begin the process of recovery. Our ministry depends on volunteer organizers, hosts and hostesses, and donations from the congregation.
Meal Ministry provide meals to those in need of short-term help when hospitalized, recovering from illness, after the birth of a baby, or other life-changing events.
Bread Ministry provides a loaf of bread to first time Sunday visitors to LCM as a thoughtful way to say thank you for attending a worship service at LCM. We deliver the homemade bread, devotional booklet, and a newsletter to the visitor’s home.
Caring Visitor Ministry
Caring Visitor Ministry visits those who are homebound, in care facilities, or are recovering from injury or illness. We visit, pray, and bring Holy Communion on a regular basis to the care receiver, while helping to strengthen the relationship each care receiver has with God and the LCM community of believers.
Green Ministry works to help strengthen the relationship between us, God, and God’s creation through stewardship of the earth. Education and participation in such projects as reducing energy use, adopt-a-street, and more are emphasized. This ministry was key in getting LCM’s facility 100% solar powered.

HEART Ministry works with God, through the worshiping community to provide Hospitality, Encouragement, Appreciation, Recognition and Thanks to members and visitors alike. Please let us know if there is someone we should recognize or some way we could assist your ministry in its work, and we will put our HEARTS into it!
ROMEO Breakfast Ministry
All men are invited to join the Romeo group for breakfast at a local restaurant. We meet 2nd Monday of the month at 8:30 am.
Outreach Blanket Ministry
Outreach Blanket Ministry meets the 2nd and 4th Saturdays to create and tie blankets that are then given to St. Joseph’s Hospital 2-3 times a year, and are always appreciated. We welcome contributions of any baby fabric, flannel, batting or yarn, and we welcome anyone who likes to quilt, sew, crochet or knit to join us.
Hope Ministry is a six-week program that ministers to women living in a halfway house. Most of the women have spent time in jail or prison, and the halfway house is their next step in the system before release. Our goal is to strengthen the relationship between the ladies and Jesus, and with each other. We listen, show respect, and best of all help them know there is HOPE in Jesus Christ.
Samaritan Ministry educates and leads the congregation in opportunities to serve our neighbors locally and globally.
Some of the ways we witness through sharing our time, talents and money include:
Abrazos a Molholm
Abrazos a Molholm assists Molholm Elementary school by collecting clothing and food items for the in-school clothing closet and food pantry, raising funds to help cover the Outdoor Lab fees for Molholm’s 6th graders, and providing a monthly treat or lunch of appreciation for their 60 staff members.
