Book Club with Pastor
Join Pastor Alwen and your friends at LCM for a 5-session book club on The Ungrateful Refugee: What Immigrants Never Tell You by Dina Nayeri. LCM has a long history of supporting immigrants and refugees through our Foothills Refugee and Immigration Assist Ministry and has recently also begun to partner with a refugee family from Syria as they settle in the U.S. There will be three different meeting times:
Wednesday mornings March 12-Apr 9, 10:30-11:30 (you are welcome to stay for the social Lent lunch afterwards!)
Wednesday evenings March 12-Apr 9, 6:30-7:30pm
Thursday afternoons March 13-Apr 10, 1-2pm

Lent Soup Lunches
LCM Heart ministry is hosting social lunches for members and guests. If you are willing and able to make and share a yummy soup, stew or chili please sign up at the Welcome Center.

Creation Care Workshop
In anticipation of Earth Day, LCM's Green Team will provide information and facilitate brainstorming on things we as individuals can do to protect and preserve God's creation after worship on Palm Sunday, April 13. Plan to stay and learn and share. Earth-friendly DOOR PRIZES will be awarded to a lucky few.

Join us this Maundy Thursday for a reflective service with scripture, and hand washing as we remember Jesus' command to love and serve one another.

Good Friday
Join us this Good Friday for a solemn service of reflection and prayer as we remember Christ’s sacrifice and the depth of God’s love.

Easter Sunday
Celebrate the joy of Easter with us! Join us this Sunday as we rejoice in Christ’s resurrection with music, worship, and community. Alleluia!

Eater Egg Hunt
We will have an Easter egg hunt in between our two Easter services! We invite you to donate eggs stuffed with goodies for our Easter egg hunt! Please bring eggs stuffed with candy or other treats to church for the next few weeks and we will hide them for an Easter egg hunt Easter Sunday! Please avoid common allergens such as gluten, egg, and nuts.

Silent Auction
Bid on items at our annual Basket Silent Auction! 50% of ALL proceeds from the silent auction baskets will go towards helping our LCM youth attend camp at Sky Ranch or Rainbow Trails this summer, and 50% will go to the Refugee Ministry at LCM.
From March 16 - April 20 we will be collecting new and very gently used items for themed baskets that will be available for silent bidding at LCM from April 27 to May 4. We are looking for household, gardening, glassware, jewelry, artwork, and other items that would fit into a basket. All donations may be placed on the lower kitchen counters. If you have gift cards to donate please place them in Kathy Bakke's mailbox
